Shopping Styles of the Signs
Each sign has a style of behavior that relates to various activities in life – including shopping! Each sign has likes and dislikes and areas of interest. When you know these, shopping’s a breeze!
In looking at these styles, you can use either your Sun sign (according to the dates listed) or your Rising sign if you know it.
+ indicates the sign’s most positive approaches - shows you what to watch out for
Aries (3/21 - 4/20) + like a hunter with a mission; in and out in a hurry; good intuition; best solo - doesn’t “shop around” so might pay more; buys what one wants oneself
Taurus (4/21 – 5/20) + patient, practical so finds value for a bargain; plans ahead; sticks to budget - inflexible, set on finding a certain thing; won’t buy unless getting a deal
Gemini (5/21 - 6/20) + would rather socialize than shop, likes to shop with a friend; phone/internet shoppers - wanders, gets distracted; spends more time talking than shopping
Cancer (6/21 – 7/22) + sensitive to others’ needs; likes to shop from home or with a family member - buys on emotions not practicality so can overpay; must be in mood to shop
Leo (7/23 - 8/22) + generous, loves to give gifts; likes to have fun shopping, makes a game of it - thinks everyone wants something fun or frivolous; makes egocentric choices
Virgo (8/23 – 9/22) + looks for excellent quality items; pays attention to details; wraps beautifully - too picky, so it’s hard to find the “perfect gift”; insecure about choices
Libra (9/23 - 10/22) + listens well & puts oneself in recipients’ shoes; good taste; fair & equitable - indecisive; procrastinates; doesn’t like to shop alone; has a long list!
Scorpio (10/23 – 11/22) + like a sleuth, can spy on recipients to determine good gifts; keeps secrets - goes to extremes, doing too much or too little; tries to buy others via gifts
Sagittarius (11/23 - 12/21) + doesn’t mind searching far and wide; likes catalogs & mail order; generous - thinks gag gifts are OK for anyone; unconcerned with cost; spends too much
Capricorn (12/22 – 1/21) + organized; sticks to a plan or list, and a budget; very efficient & focused - too frugal; thinks everyone wants something practical; gives for attention
Aquarius (1/22 - 2/19) + shops well on-line; looks for the unusual, distinctive or shocking; intuitive - buys weird stuff; assumes what others want without asking; impulsive!
